Following the inauguration of the beautiful space occupied by Macro Future – marked by an exhibition organized in collaboration with PS1-New York and Kunstwerke-Berlin - the NUOVO MACRO, designed by architect Odile Decd, will also open by the end of 2008. It is a new structure intended to expand and enhance the activities of this Museum, both at national and international levels.
Interest in contemporary art – thanks in part to MACRO - is rapidly growing all over the city, and Macro Amici is a tool, available to anyone, that has the potential to develop a sense of being part of what is well on its way to becoming THE great Museum of Rome, and to help support it”.

You can become a member of MACRO’s Friends Association by paying an annual fee as contribution.
This Association aims to encourage its members to regularly visit the Museum, to keep them informed and to encourage them to participate in Museum activities, as well as to help acquire works for the permanent Collection.
